Aileen Comes Up Trumps Again!!
Armagh Ladies and Aileen Matthews have reached the All-Ireland Junior Ladies football final against
Sligo in Croke Park on Sunday October 2nd. They overcame Fermanagh at the weekend in the semi-final
on a scoreline of 4-11 to 1-12 with Aileen grabbing 1-6 of the total, as well as the TG4 Player of the
Match award. Everyone in Killeavy is thrilled with the achievement and we wish Aileen and Armagh all the best
in the final!!!

Hurling and Football Championship
With Armagh defeated in the All-Ireland series, thoughts quickly turn to the club scene.
Killeavy footballers play Clans on Sunday in Davitt Park, with the big test against Dromintee the
following weekend. The hurlers play Lurgan in the Intermediate Championship on Saturday evening at
Mullabrack. Good luck to One and All!! Please go out to support the teams!!!

Hard Luck to Armagh
Tough luck to Armagh and Stephen McDonnell and Paul Watters on Armagh's narrow defeat to Tyrone on Sunday.
Stephen has surely cemented his third AllStar after a scintillating league campaign. He was man of the match in nearly
every game. While not quite so superhuman in the championship, he was always good for at least 1-03 from play in most matches,
hitting some unbelieveable scores in the process. No doubt he'll have an influence in the club championship and Down Under
in Australia later in the year.

U-14 take Triple Crown!!
A momentous week for the U-14 footballers saw three great victories against tough opposition,
that has seen the team add the South League and All County Championship to their South County Championship.

was the key to their thrilling comeback victory. Great performances all over the field, with Ciaran O’Hanlon top scoring with 1-3.
Mark Magennis and Mattie McEvoy grabbed the other goals, while James MacAnuff also got on the scoreboard. Things are looking good
for the future of Killeavy football!!
