Craobh Rua 3-05 Killeavy 4-13

After a poor start to the season, our senior hurlers are now starting to get players back and as a result, performances and results have improved. Following on from a 3 point win over naomh moninna, we entertained Craobh Rua, last Tuesday night. Right from the start, Killeavy dominated with the midfield of Dara Byrne and Stevie McShane on top. Paddy McArdle at full forward was a constant threat and the endless supply of ball to the forwards meant that Killeavy went in at half time leading by 8 points.
In previous matches, Killeavy have been slow to start in the second half, but on Tuesday night, we continued to push forward, with Paul McArdle and Darren O'Hanlon also coming stronger into the game. The only negative was 3 soft goals against the run of play, but Killeavy never looked like losing this game and went on win on a scoreline of 4-13 to 3-05.
