Killeavy hurlers travelled to Truagh Gaels in Monaghan on Friday evening in the Ulster league and emerged victorious by 5 points.
Playing with the aid of a stiff breeze, Killeavy were well on top in the first half with some great free taking by Raymond McNally.
The second half was evenly matched and some good defending kept the home side at bay. This was a good result from a depleted squad
and there were good performances from Noel McCarthy, John Kelly, Raymond McNally and Shane Quinn.
