U16 League:Killeavy 0-12 Cavanakill Emmets 1-8

Killeavy U16 defeated Cavanakill Emmets in perfect conditions in Killeavy on Wednesday night. The first half was very tight, with both defences probably eding the battles, although poor shooting didn't help either team. The sides were level 4 each at the break. The second half saw Killeavy hit some wonderful scores on the break at speed, Lanny Larkin and Paddy Falloon in particular catching the eye. Cavanakill had plenty of possession but were held back by some poor finishing. Nonetheless, a goal with five minutes to play led to a cliff-hanging finish, with Killeavy grateful to hang on for a slender win.
