After an ordinary start to the season, Killeavy U12 are eventually starting to show glimpses of their true potential. There was also a slow start in the shield final,
where a slack goal for Silverbridge knocked the team out of their stride. Indeed, at half time Killeavy were 1-2 to 1 point behind.
However, the lads came storming back in great syle, and an early second half goal set the team on the road to great victory. Indeed, such was the second half dominance,
that they outscored Silverbridge 2-06 to no score to win the shield. Well done to the lads, and lets see if they can back up that win at home to Shane O'Neills on
Wednesday night.
