Up against Armagh All County champions St Pats in the league semi-final, Killeavy ran away to a superb
eight point victory on a score of 2-08 to 0-06. Two early goals from Niall Duffy and Niall Mee from the
penalty spot paved the way for the win. A strong defensive display shut the door firmly on the classy Cullhanna
outfit, and was some measure of revenge for heavy defeat earlier in the season. Best of luck to the lads in the final
against a very good Crossmaglen team next weekend. Strong displays from the whole team backed the obvious skills of James Donnelly
and Conor King, and another cohesive display will be required to lift the league crown.
