B Football League: Killeavy 2-09 Silverbridge 0-16Killeavy hosted Silverbridge again on Wednesday evening for the second week in a row, this time in the league. The 'Bridge were the better team throughout the first half, and a flurry of early frees gave them a healthy lead. Highlights of the half were Karl O'Hare's appearance before his wedding, several fine scores from Cormac McConville and a great sideline ball from Gerard Byrne. Michael Connolly also chipped in with a left footed score. Silverbridge stretched away into a four point lead by the break however.  Half-Time:Killeavy 0-06 Silverbridge 0-10Killeavy were really out of contention at the start of the second half, and fell way behind to a score of 0-15 to 0-7. They then mounted a late comeback, with Paddy Hannaway scoring 2 frees, before Cormac mcConville scored a goal when a Ciaran Duffy penalty rebounded off the bar. A late chance saw Conor Quinn sit on the ball as it rolled along the Silverbridge goalline. He waited for it to hatch,and when this didn't happen, he somehow scranbled it to the net.
