Fresh from the exhiliration of last week's All County Championship victory, this game probably came a little too soon after last weekends high. Played in Killeavy on Saturday evening, the girls tried really hard,
but on the day fair play to a gallant Clann Eireann side who deserved their victory.
The sides were level at the break at Killeavy 3-2 to 1-08 for Clann Eireann, but three second half goals for Clann Eireann clinched them the title.
Brigetta Quinn scored two more goals for Killeavy this week, and other scorers included Rebecca Gamble (1-02), Karen Murphy (1-0) and Megan Boyle (0-1).
Well done to all the Killeavy girls who enjoyed a wonderful season, and the club and parents are all very proud of their efforts.
