After a great win last week, our ladies came back to earth with a defeat in a very close game in Mullaghbawn. The final score was 2-12 to 1-12. Sinead Mallon had an excellent game at centre forward, but Killeavy missed a lot first half chances and were a point down at half-time.
A Sarah Doran goal for Killeavy brought the teams level midway through the second half ,
but two late points for Mullaghbawn won the day. Aileen Matthews scored six points on the night, while Ciara McConville scored three fine points.
