Killeavy put last weeks defeat to Dromintee behind them and put Lissummon to the sword on Saturday evening, when the weather felt more like January than May.
There were strong performances all over the pitch, Carmel Mallon very authoritative at centre back, and Aileen Matthews keeping the scoreboard ticking over at the
other end. With Killavy solid everywhere, Lissummon couldn't make any headway in a match many thought would be close, having witnessed the opening league match at the start
of the year. Sinead Reel entered the fray for 10 great minutes in the second half, and rattled over three fine points in succession. Well done to the Ladies. Let's up they can keep
up the good performances of the past few weeks for the rest of the season.
